For belivers in Jesus to be empowered by the fire of the Holy Spirit in their lives to do great things for his glory.

Knit together.

The Church-Ekklesia is a body-family, we are not ships alone on the Sea of life. We are together trying to cross that Sea in a boat. But we are more, we are a people knit together by love in Jesus. Colossians 2:2. In the different translations of the Bible, differing words are used, most commonly ‘united’. But being knit has more emphasis on being overlapped together, but not all being the same, though we may have the same purpose. We do always need to be together, through the thick and thin of it.

The Apostle Paul tells us that being part of the body ‘we fit together within it like sinews and muscles’, which is much more personnel than bones. One cannot do without the other, if we all thought like this what power, what movements God could make in the places where we are today.

Galatians 3:28, 1 John 4:12-13, Philippians 2:1, Acts 4:32, Psalm 133:1.
