Of the Cross. Part-Two.

Roman Centurion.

This elite Roman soldier was standing at the foot of the cross and the statement that he made was no small matter to be dissnissed in the text of the New Testament. It is a profound recognition of who Jesus is, for a Roman pagan man who was part of a elite fighting unit of the Roman Empire.

‘A righteous man, the Son of God,’ He came to this conclusion because of fear and God knows our hearts, and this stament was made with the power of the Holy Spirit entering into this man.

The Holy Spirit has always been with people who have done the right things and served God’s will. He is not limited to the New Testament and Acts chapter two. If you disagree with me here, you have got some serious problems with your beliefs and need to seek direction from God and start really studying your Bible!
